Software for hair salon

Hi everyone

I have some mates opening a hair salon and they are looking for some software to manage bookings, etc. Does anyone know of a good piece of software out there to use?

Also they need a POS system and I have looked around, but there are tons of competitors that seem to do the same thing, has anyone had a good experience with one they can suggest?

Google Calendar could work well for the bookings?

I don't know anything about POS systems though, i believe that can be quiet pricey...

Can't think why a hair salon would need a POS solution, we can sell you one but you're better off visiting Makro/Game and looking at their tills. The Casio PCR-T265 looks like a good fit for their needs.
