Software Freedom Day

Hi all,

Just to let you all know Software Freedom Day on the 17th September will be held at Vodaworld this year. Will post updated when we get the speakers, events details sorted. We plan to start at 9:30. If you know of anyone that would like to do a presentation let me know or if you wish to participate as more than just an attendee let me know..

Also don't forget the 1/2 price LPI level 1 and level 2 exams on the day. We are also running training course 1/2 price (R5000) for the LPI 101/102 crash course from the 12-16th September details on the LPI Linux training can be found here.

The Software Freedom page for this says everything is still in planning stage.

Ugh... Why a Saturday?

Its on the Saturday to allow people who work to join in. Also as most of us involved are doing thins out of love of open source we need it also on a day where were not working.
