I am considering putting in a solar geyser and so far I have been advised to put in a 240L system. I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with renusolar as I cannot find any reviews on them and wanted to check that their system is going to last as well as save on electricity.
Also, are there any suppliers that offer more than a 5 year warranty?? always thought that solar is a long term thing and so at least 10 year warranty should be the norm, but seems that its all 5 years.

I see renusolar are based in durbs. assume you are too.

To the best of my knowledge the coil type solar geysers they sell are not SABS approved and also not recognised for eskom rebate.

in that instance rather try solar beam. They've been around for over 30yrs and know their stuff.

Never use Safrelec as installer. They have/had a 15 year warranty on their panels. They go bankrupt and later use the same name again and will give you hassles when claiming under warranty.

they are on the eskom supplier list and seems to have SABS approval ... also, they do offer the rebate
they the only ones I can find with evacuated tubes around the area, but cant find any details about how reliable they are.
I was offered a 240L system even though I wanted a 300L system, as they seem to have no stock of 300L and do not expect them for a good few months( which seems suspicious to me)

ok .. seems that they dont have stock of what I want.
anyone can recommend a solar geyser supplier/installer that does Evacuated tubes in the durban area??

Just because they are on eskom list does not make ALL the systems they supply eligible for a rebate. I have confirmed that the coil systems Do Not meet SA standards (there arent any).

try this to find what you are looking for.
