Solar Journey

The following upgrade to the Flat.
Upgrade 5Kw Sunsynk to 6 Kw Deye inverter.
Then upgrade on of the strings to 550-watt panels.
Panels will then 6*550 and 6*470 watt.

Then get electrician in to put my stove on inverter power.
Then all my equipment will be on inverter power.

Easy answer, 5Kw Sunsynk inverter can't handle high wattage panels.
Maximum Power Current-IMPP (A) to high for Sunsynk. (13A per channel)
That is why I have currently 6*455 and 6*470-watt panels installed.

Wont the sunsynk just clip the power (amps)? I see the specs for the 6kW deye says 12kW max solar. How do you use 12kW on a 6kW inverter?

Whats wrong with the 455W and 470W panels.

Seems like a sideways move instead of an upgrade.

Don't think so.

I'm aware that its the solar array. Lets say you are using 6kW load on the inverter and you have 12kW of solar, where does the other 6kW go?
 
Remember it is a Hybrid inverter.
It can go lots of ways 12kw.

Milestone so far on my solar installation Flat and House.

Installation date: 2022-06-07
Look at Total. (10.16MWh) this is in my pocket. We need to total both readings.
