I think this is where I saw them. The shop is opposite the Dischem. I might be wrong. But I'll go swing by there either tomorrow or over the weekend.

My first pair of XA Pro Ultra's soles pulled apart after just 6 months of office wear, I'm not even a mountaineer or trial runner. Due South replaced them but I had to pay in R500 as the price had gone up in the meanwhile..

Still love the shoes though, they are so well ventilated, you can wear them every day without stewing your feet.

Eish, paying R 1 500 for shoes that look like that after 6 months :eek:

The soles look worn but still good though apart from that section you lifting. Did it actually tear or was it not glued correctly?

I have those, but grey.

They are trail running shoes, not "takkies"

They are very light, very comfortable, but the tread does not last (although the grip is amazing at the beginning)

I would not buy them for everyday use. They are still going after about 6/7 months but will not last the year.

It look a bit more worn on the photo than actual, the grey parts or tread indicators appear pretty soon..I sit idle at a desk most of the day so it can't be that much wear over 6 months.

It was not glued correctly, I would never ever have discovered it if it wasn't for the squeaky noise it started making when moisture went between the rubber parts. (imagine the sound of walking on tiled floors where sugary drinks spilled and dried.)

O ok, well that's not too bad then. If I can wear them for a year at least I'll be happy. But I suppose you wear yours daily?
 
Those things are fscking hideous. You would need to pay me 1.5k to wear them. Possibly MORE!
