Thanks Shaun for sponsoring the prize - it is out of Shaun's own pocket though, so hopefully WBS will be able to sponsor prizes in the near future.

I am thinking along the lines of WBS sponsoring a prize in one of the official MyADSL Competitions & Promotions, perhaps something neutral like one of them funky wireless Skype phones...;)
 
Its out of Shauns own pocket? I think shaun should get some props on just being around and actually listening to problems here. I have noticed he posts stuff while he's not on the clock, I think that shows his commitment to customer satisfaction, thanks shaun, its appreciated.

Agreed the increased participation is much appreciated, and I have posted much the same [post=182292]in LG's P2P thread[/post] which oddly enough is not getting participation from WBS...

hint hint hint hint hint

PS: I should add that vodacom3G (aka v3g) posts at all times of the day & night and that level of participation is probably a huge factor explaining why Vodacom got a high Customer Service & Support rating from MyADSL test participants - checkout the 2nd draft ;).

PS2: As a consumer, my goal is to instigate not only price wars between various Service Providers, but wars that also result in better Customer Service & Support...Amandla!!!

Better than actively engaging customers and potential customers in discussions that have already resulted in escalation of problems to get them resolved quickly, as well as getting new package & service options introduced according to feedback from forumites...?

What could be better for a Service Provider than developing a symbiotic relationship between itself and its customers?

Besides it is now post-launch, so does WBS have something better to do than develop a similar kind of symbiotic relationship with its customers...
 
i'm just saying I want the peopel at my isp to be the ones who dont sit on forums posting all day, but thats just me
 
What a nice Surprise.

Hi,
Just got back on the Air Tonight. (This morning)

Seems one of the Kids Clicked on every every popup that asked them to.

This with a PC that gets taken to LAN Parties where the firewalls and antivirus is
disbaled because it interfers with the Gaming.

Took me two whole days befor I finally decided a reformat & re-install is in order.

Anyway,
I will contact Shaun today (Monday) to see what we can do.
