Good morning guys,
Need some help please.
My router DHCP is on the 192.168.0 range
I need to change it to the 192.168.1 range but when I click apply on the TPlink router it says the following:

Error code: 5017

Start IP Address is the not within same subnet as the LAN IP or its reserved IP Address. Please input another IP Address.

I entered the range from 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.200
I need to do this to get into a camera that has the 192.168.1 address.

My PC is on DHCP so not sure why it wont allow me to change the range address.
Please could you help?

You need to change the router's LAN IP to the new range you want. So 192.168.1.1 or whatever you want. It should automatically update the DHCP range after a save / reboot.
Painful, but that may be a built in safety switch in the router to prevent you accidentally "losing access" to the router (requiring a manual IP setup on your PC to access it).
Some routers don't have very flexible network setup.

I am back guys, having a major headache trying to get camers online.

I am using the Dahua IP connected to the POE switch which then connects to the 4G TPLINK.
I get the notifications on the Dahua mobile app that there is motion but when I click on live view it says : connection failed.
I cant seem to work out whats going on.
So basically I get notifications from the app that there is mtion detection but cant view the video.Signal seems good 70% cellular signal.
Any ideas?
I dont think I need a static route do I? As the device is telling me there is movement.
Unless the video uses something different to the notifications?
When trying to setup a static route I used the iternal camera address 192.168.1.108 subnet 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1
but I get an error

With a TP Link router the DHCP and IP settings only take effect after a reboot.

The router LAN address must be set to 192.168.1.1 / 255.255.255.0 - Save
DHCP settings as you posted them above. - Save
192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.200 / 255.255.255.0
You can leave default gateway blank. It will automatically use 192.168.1.1 . Or you can put it in.

Reboot router

Do you need to open ports or something?
i am not sure, thats what I am asking maybe thats the issue?
I would know where to even start.
But I am unable to view the video feed remotely although I am getting notifications of movement

Is the Dahua app pointing to a DNS name ?
I had a similar issue, where I had to set up two connections - one for when I was "in network" and one from outside (somedyndns) eg.

I loaded the serial number on the lan, using the app and thats all.
I didnt point to any DNS name.
I tried to add the camera outside now and it says you already have that serial number added.
Any advice?
I deleted it and re added it remotely on the app, still cannot view feed
Says connection failed but am getting notifications of movement in app

Could it be a signal strength issue on the cellular network?

Do you have your cameras connected to an NVR?
no the IP cam is connected direct to the 4G router. (through a POE switch that gets feed from the router.)

Router 4G---------POE switch-----------camera.
So like I said im getting notifications but cannot view live feed

Posably you need to find out if your camera manufacturer has a DNS service normally free most large NVR manufacturers then you follow there instructions to set the dns server setting on your router so you can access your camera from outside your network.

Just a thought if you are at home connected to your network can you see the camera through your app.

Yeah are you trying to access them remotely or over the LAN?
Remotely over 4G the router is a 4G one
Unfortunately it's the only connection that's available
The fibre in the location needs a sign in every time u use it
