I eluded to as much, but still maintain that these 'management and steering issues' are easily remedied, if there is the will to do so.Poor management is a symptom of a larger problem, poor education and corruption. If the major corporations are performing poorly it means the economy is performing poorly, if those corporations experience losses, we will experience losses. If the economy performs poorly, the country is falling apart.
I subscribe to Mbeki's view that some of these issues are growing pains of a developing economy, however better management would minimise the effect these challenges have on our people and our economy as a whole.
Crime is another animal entirely.
