Interesting poll. The only ones I checked 'no' to were hijacking and car break-in. Those are probably only because I've never owned a car.

One thing that's missing though is an option for the blissful... 'I have never been a victim, and do not know anyone who has'.

What it means is our beautiful countries growing and growing fast!! People are getting wealthier lifestyle are changing, its for the better of our country!!

Besides it can also be the bloody apartheid governments fault!! They kept things small and only for them now we all equal all the industries are expanding faster.


Oh and what a stupid topic, lucky I only read the first stupid post!!
 
Bwahaha trust him to blame Apartheid. My god :D. Actually the majority of people in SA are now living so much on debt so is that a sign of a good economy? Maybe that is to you??
 
SA is doing well? I think not.

Add up taxes (wasted), medical aid (because government cannot even provide sheets in their hospitals), private schools (so my kid does not need to teach the teacher how to read), private security (because we have no police force) and insurance, and that can amount to over R20000 a month.

For this, I get to barely survive (literally) on a daily basis.

If this is growth, I would rather not have it. Thanks anyways.

If you can spend R20K a month and still have a bank balance in the positive, you're doing slightly more than barely surviving. I do get your point though.

So do youll care about the fact theres high unemployment and bad debt or you just using it to strengthen your lame arguments??

these are actually signs that sa is growing faster than it can keep up with.

but i guess if you have a negative mindset....thats all you'll see
 
Based on the questions above I think I'm darn lucky...

Car break-in and electricity is the only options I could select :confused:

eNATIS is meant to be better - we paid R400 million for it. If the old system could do it, why not the new?
Bedfordview was poor management - not growth.
Crime is due to growth? No, actually, growth should lead to less crime - as crime is (normally) a factor of unemployment.
Soft drink shortages is a result of a poorly looked after or poorly managed CO2 factory - we for sure do not have a market for softdrinks way larger than we did 6 months ago.
Lotto again is poor management - how does growth affect the process?

Some of those may indeed be growth (such as fuel) - but if China can grow its oil imports at the rate they do, what is our excuse with marginal vehicle growth? (and, at the moment, thanks to eNATIS, virtually no vehicle growth)

Mmm the Coke thing....
ABI is being selfish and dominant as always, they want to make their own C02 and just coz they greedy!!! WHats worst is they now have a 100 mill machine that makes co2 from beer byproducts!!!!!
