Some Websites Restricted on Vodacom SIM

My father-in-law applied 2 months ago for fibre. He is still waiting for installation. Up to now he used a 3g connection with no issues. When they delivered his new fibre router they also gave him a LTE dongle to use in the mean time. It works but some sites, like youtube, zoom, showmax etc. are blocked. He took it to his local Vodacom shop but those bright sparks insist it's his pc. When he explains that he doesn't have that issue on his old 3g dongle they don't understand. Can anybody help?

Adult content block probably needs to be disabled by them. Gathering from the outcome of the OPs problem here.
 
I have an almost similar issue with a new vodacom data contract.
Connectivity seemed fine until this afternoon when most sites became unavailable with the following error:
  • Cannot connect to page/server
  • DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
I can still connect to a few useful sites, and the work network... for now, but most other attempts to connect to other websites fail.

Could this be a related issue?

I'm on vodacom Business Lte and some sites like gmail and amazon wont load, did you get yours to work?
