Someone keeps hacking my network

If pc & mybb login are compromised then this could be the hacker who started this thread? This isn't the real @proximiti99

dir /w /p
del *.wut /y

If you ate streaming from a media player, it is probably transcoding causing this. Main cause is CPU of the box running the media player is not strong enough, especially if you play 1080p H264/H265.

Install an old incandescent bulb somewhere you can see it. Is the light going dimmer/brighter when pcs are experiencing issues (no answer for the laptop). Blocked ports showing does not a hacker make. Install a p with pihole if you really want to see what is happening or ssh into your router if possible 5o monitor

* Stop surfing dodgy site?
* Kick the smart TV off your network - or at least place it on a guest network
* Switch off management of your router from the WAN side
* make sure the firewall on your router is enabled
* Scan your network for unknown devices and block them
* Kids install all kinds of *** on their computers. Reformat and re-install (or do a proper deep clean)
* Create the kid a new user account (without admin right, or at least link kids existing Windows account to Microsoft Family account with parental control / permissions)
* Use a free "family protection" / filtering DNS rather than your ISP DNS. Easy list to pick from: https://kb.adguard.com/en/general/dns-providers

And all the other stuff mentioned above

No dodgy sites. All of the above already done apart from the DNS link. Thank you will investigate this.

Please feel free to PM me any more suggestions.

I was considering a VPN but then my thoughts are if this person can get through my current protection then that won’t help…

You are jumping to the conclusion that it's hacking. There's a 99.9% chance it isn't.

With all due respect, please refrain from assumptions as I’m in the situation not you, and I did state there’s much more to what I mentioned above…. the reason I wouldn’t share more is quite obvious as is this a public forum.

1st ask yourself. Are you a corrupt politician? If not? Its probably your router, bad wiring or ISP.

People hack ony politicians or Celebs otherwise.

You can check if your machines all have updated antivirus. Also did you get your tech from the same supplier? I used to have endless hassles with hificorp stuff.

So WTF do you asking for advice on a public forum ?

Mate if you can’t help then rather not comment. If you can help then PM your details and I’ll share more.

No, we can definitely help. Your network has been hacked!

They have complete control of everything. The only solution is to destroy all network attached devices, and cut the fibre cable to your house. Be careful, as the hackers my break into your property and try repair and re-attach the fibre cable whilst you are sleeping. If you rely on a wireless provider and not fibre, then I'm sorry, but you're screwed, as the hackers have complete wireless access to your house. The only solution in that case is to wrap your house in reems of heavy-duty tinfoil. It must be heavy duty tinfoil as the hackers can hack through light-weight tinfoil.

You realise you don't have to give names?
