Something strange happened at work today...

Hmmmmm, most of the advice here has overlooked one simple solution to your problem. Really, I think the best action going forward, is for you to whip it out in front of her at work tomorrow.

If she reacts positively, you can pick up where you left off before you called her shallow. In fact, you'll be in an even stronger position.

If she reacts negatively, then at least you know where you stand.

**** I love the internet.

Tell her that you are sorry and explain to that you really like her alot. Tell her that you acted like a little boy who likes a girl in his class and doesnt know how to show her, so her teases her or irritates her.
Then tell her that you will take her for coffee. The trick is to speak to her alone and be sincer about it smile and make and crack a joke.
And use puppy dog eyes. Wear cologne and brush your teeth.
And bobs your uncle.

That's live demonstration of woman's logic for you. (no offence, women are more emotional by nature)

You should have known such basic. If you are intending to live with her without being tolerant to it, then life will be hell for you.

Be more forgiving next time. On bright side, now you know that she is quite emotional.

Do not apologise. You were a prick and bitches like pricks. :p She'll come around.

Tell her:
"I'm sorry that you are shallow."

Jokes just leave it.

Why do you think she got so offended? You struck a nerve with her.

So she tells you that she friendzoned a guy and that:
I also remember her being like "yeah I've been single for so long guys aren't interested in me" even though she is really attractive.

Which contradicts what she said about friendzoning the guy. What she is really saying is that guys find her attractive and she wants you to find her attractive too because it is good for her ego. Instead you insulted her by calling her shallow, when she expected you to grovel and tell her how amazing she is.

I'd say you passed this test with flying colours.

EDIT: Oh and one more thing. Ask yourself why a beautiful girl is single for so long. Beautiful girls get hit on multiple times per day by random guys. In the gym, at work, in the shops, everywhere. Yet she is single. Ask yourself why.

I have to ask......WTF is Friendzoned?

Friendzoned is when a woman says she only sees a guy as a friend and would never date him. A typical story goes something along the lines of, a guy likes a girl, but doesn't make a move. So he becomes friends with her in the hopes that she will see how awesome she is and fall in love with him. Problem is, doing that means she doesn't see you as a man, so she won't date you. That is what friendzoned is.

So There is this girl I really like, she started in September and we have gotten really close over the last couple of months. So earlier this week she tells this story about this dude that liked her and that she quickly friend zoned the guy. but I also remember her being like "yeah I've been single for so long guys aren't interested in me" even though she is really attractive.
So after she tells me about the guy she friend zoned, I said that she is has very shallow views and she is shallow.
So this happened Tuesday or Monday. Today there was this weird animosity in the office. and at the end of the day she tells me she is actually very angry with me and she asks me what is my problem with her.

She was really angry I could hear it in her voice tone. I just said I do not have a problem with her.. afterwards there was this awful funk in the office for the last 30 minutes of the day. we did not speak again after this. And I feel like an idiot now...

My question is... How do you jump back from saying to a girl she is shallow?

My one friend told me her reaction might be a good thing because it means my opinion is important to her that's why it upset her... i don't know what do you think? am I a dumbass R Tard?

Can I bounce back from this?

I think you missed the main point of her saying all of these. What she was trying to say to you in woman speech (In my manly opinion) you say you remember her saying that "she has been single for so long, guys are not interested in her" I presume this was said before the friendzone thing. My take is that she was trying to say. I am single and have been for a while are you interested? of which it seems you did not pick up on it.

Then she tried her second tactic of " that this guy finds her attractive (do you find me attractive?), but I friendzoned him quickly (So I am still available if you are interested)". Of which you called her shallow. No wonder she got pissed. she was trying to drop subtle hints for you to ask her out.

I would apologize and then just leave her to come to you on her own terms. When she does come around and starts chatting and you start making her laugh again, tell her that you feel really bad about calling her shallow and that you would like to take her out for coffee/dinner to make it up to her.

It's that point in the relationship where she decides there will be no relationship but she will take advantage of you until you realise it a few months later. And then when you leave she gets pissed.

Yeah well, goddamn women need to stop with the subliminal schit. We men are simple creatures and need picture books to understand such things. Just be straight; "Are you DTF?"

Yep agree, been out of school a long time now and was never really a ladies man but when I am sitting in bed thinking about times in school. Sometimes it hits me what some of the girls in my class were actually wanting/meaning when they were saying certain things to me of which I was totally oblivious to at the time. and it is like oh my ***** moment
