I've been having issues all day with BB.
Turned phone off (taking battery out) or turning it off and turning it back on.
My messages (via BBM) take forever to get to people and they get it, but it doesn't say it's R (read) only D (downloaded)

When I browse Twitter - I have no reception.
Facebook takes forever to update.

D means it has been delivered, R means it has been read.. if they don't look at it it will stay D.

Cellphone tower not working? Have that kinda problem where internet is extremely slow and nothing works properly.

I know this.

But I'm saying, It's D even after I know they've read it (and replied with messages)

Now, the messages (sent to a few people) are still 'sending'

Seems like a poor BIS service issue.

I've found that you have to actually scroll over the messages sometimes to get them to change to an "R" otherwise they can stay a D forever. It's a scrolling action that renders them as "R", in my experience. So if they didn't scroll, it won't change.

Also yes, some BBM's are almost immediate, other times my BBMs take forever to be delivered.

Its the combination of poor network coverage, a crap network and a bad phone. Smartest solution would be to get a better phone, if your on pre-paid then the cheapest would be to get another network.
