I found that the soft spot under the chin is a prime spot for cutlery defense.

Under the chin like in the Gladiator where the Preatorian is stabbed from below through the tongue and into the hard palate and that apparently killed him? It won't.

So this guy walks in literally with an axe in his head, holding it up so it doesnt fall out, and he says to her, "Naand missus". She fainted.

I have no sympathy for criminals who attack and kill people in their own homes. South Africans should stop letting them have it their way. Well done to this young man for protecting his family.

I'm never without a knife... proof again that a knife is way faster than a gun. The guy was stabbed twice before anyone could get off a shot!

I inherited a very large toolbox a couple of years back, filled with oversize spanners and a huge 16 pound hammer. Great Uncle was some kind of loco repair man back in the forties.
