SONA 2018 has been postponed

No what I'm criticising is the massive amount of praise that is already heading towards Ramaphosa even though he has done very little (yet). I'm not saying he won't do anything (that's stupid - all presidents do something), but I feel like it's already 'decided' by the media that Ramaphosa will be a good president. One needs to take a wait-and-see approach first. Also, given the way the way the ANC operates, Ramaphosa, I believe will have far less freedom to do what he wants that what is commonly believed. He will be operating within the confines of what the ANC like to call "structures". That is all.

With all these ladies in town, have you been deflowered yet?

Except that if you believe (as she does) that all is going to be fine and dandy in SA because of Cyril, then there'd be no need to send her son (at great expense) overseas. Was this sending her son to Columbia a tacit acceptance that she thinks the quality of SA higher education is collapsing?

I was sent to university in Spain. Was it because my parents thought that French education was collapsing?

My mother studied at Cambridge, was it because my grandparents thought that French education was collapsing?

Or is it just a thing that educated parents do by sending their kids to the institution possible?

Priceless.

The Afrikaans Sunday paper Rapport chose Steve Hofmeyr to analyse the Zuma/Ramaphosa transition & future for them - full page. What's next, Rapport, get Penny Sparrow to write your editorials?

Concede the point. You just looking foolish.

It is the ANC. Not the same ANC though.

You sure about that?

The awful Lindiwe Sisulu is already starting (reply to SONA):

#SONADebate Sisulu: Dishonourable for Maimane to take credit for change of government - was driven by the ANC, has nil to do with the opposition. GD

Michael Cardo has got it right:

Lindiwe Sisulu opens her #SONADebate speech with a powerful reminder of what a miserable, mean-spirited, imperious & thin-skinned woman she is. Deputy President se voet.
