SONA 2018 has been postponed

I hear what you say. There are those who can't forgive, they don't want things to work out, from both sides of the fence, and they don't recognise anything good... I don't refer to them. Racism and hatred is part of what devides us. I am glad to see what has started to unfold in last couple of months / weeks, and for that I am grateful. I just cant help to think there is a hidden agenda, maybe I am wrong for that, I don't know.....

Dankie.

... and maybe we are wrong for having hope that the new administration will steer the ship right. However right now both sides of the fence don’t know what will happen. Only time will tell - so let’s wait and see what happens shall we and agree to disagree ?

And here I thought I had some peaceful posts - seem to have been deleted.

All good though. Everyone seems to be communicating now. I'm impressed.

Absolutely not.

We have seen a whole load of positive change in the last few weeks since Cyril narrowly won the NEC vote, but that narrow margin win over a Zupta lackey, slut, is a sign that Cyril has a difficult job on his hands.

To suggest that there's no honourable members in the ANC top echelon would be dishonest,.... just look at Nene and Pravin to mention a couple.

If Zupta's ex-slut had won the NEC vote, there's no way we'd see arrest warrants for Ajay and Atul Gupta including Duduzane Zuma, the firing of Eskom's board, the resignation of Koko the clown, etc.

Over R1 million reward for info on Guptas, Duduzane Zuma whereabouts
Could you imagine that under Zupta's reign.

Hey, it's not some sort of physical threat. Given the dude a lot of lee way because he is an Opel fan. But I generally tackle idiotic and racist statements. Gloves are off now.

You meant in spite of him being an Opel fan? Or are you feeling sorry for him because of this fact?

Are they any good? Don’t know Much about them?

I think what makes Lindiwe looks like a good candidate is that there is a shortage of good, capable women in the ANC, even if they are there they were stifled by the Bathabile type of women who were hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons, many good women were pushed out when Zuma came to power, and they went on tondonother things, from the bunch we have to choose from, options are really limited, Lindiwe, Naledi, and Ayanda Dlodlo are the only women I can think of, the others are a bunch of Zuma praise singers or the type who do their nails in Parliament.

Exactly. Look for example at Magda's tweets (CEO of Sygnia) and many in this thread. She's basically losing all credibility by already acting as a Cyril sycophant. Apparently she had tears in eyes after SONA.

Perhaps next week's budget might get people to re-focus.
She has more credibility than some of the keyboard warriors here, if they've bothered to read up on her...

I hear you. But also let's give room for people to express themselves and their frustration. Yes name calling isn't helping anyone.
We've seen more happen in the past 2 months than Zuma's entire 2 terms. How much quicker do they want things to move?

There's just no satisfying some people. They'll never shut up until the DA is in power, ironically displaying the same sort of extremism displayed by some in the ANC and EFF.

And even then they'll find something to bitch about. Maybe Mmusi isn't the 'best' leader, and they'd need someone of the calibre of the groot krokodil...

Yes *crying* at SONA is really going to make her objective going forward about Ramaphosa. Oh, and you might have missed the fact that she is a multi-millionaire (or perhaps billionaire) who has stated on multiple occasions that she could move to anywhere in the world at a moments notice (I do notice funnily enough that despite her feeling that SA is an amazing place to be, her one son is studying at Columbia university in the USA). Very easy to be soooooooo positive when you can escape if things go tits up.

And yet another fawning piece in the Sunday Times today about Ramaphosa.

Oh well - enjoy the ANC having a two-thirds majority again in 2019 :). Just remember the media as well as people on here who seem to be so easily impressed by words rather than action are enabling this. Let's just conveniently 'forget' all of the ANC's multiple and long-standing failures in education, health, infrastructure etc.
