Just because the DA doesn't have the moral high ground anymore, doesn't mean that it belongs to the ANC. We are lucky enough to have more than 2 parties in SA.

I am with the ANC and EFF supporters on this one. The DA should have fired this guy the second he was found guilty by the internal disciplinary commitee and a criminal case should have been opened against him.

This leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth regarding the DA. Dont get me wrong I am a DA supporter but this is not right. Where do you draw the line?

If so, that makes you no better than a ruling party supporter no?

I strongly suspect that they will force him out after this.
I definitely would not vote for him or want him representing me.

The fact of the matter is that the DA is a thousand times better at dealing with corruption in their party than the ANC is.

I meant skin on skin physical contact.
Yes, what he did was reprehensible, and I certainly would not want him representing me.
But they would have still had to follow Labour Law procedures... and sexual harrassment requires a hearing to be held.

At such a hearing he is allowed to be represented and bring evidence.
If there were any extenuating circumstances, then he may not be dismissed immediately or they open themselves up to further litigation.

LOL, brand blind to the end. I am a critic of any party where criticism is warranted. Unlike you. Who supports a party that gives a wrist slap punishment for something as serious as sexual harassment. Whoopee.

Personally, I would love to see them kick him to the kerb. But his disciplinary hearing is not up to you and I.
That's the way these things work in SA. Workers have way more rights now than ever before.
Nevertheless I bet he won't last long in the party after this.

So why do you hate the DA that much? ( granted I don't like them either they are however nothing as bad as the ANC or the EFF )


Man chill a bit. It's not as if he can build himself an Nkandla, rape the justice system or loot the tax coffers.
He will get what is coming. Within the next few weeks.

But let's not detract from the seriousness of this case...

Now that the internal case has been completed the victim should institute a civil case against him.
 
And let's also not forget how the government is allowing rape to continue to be a massive problem in SA without addressing the issue with more effective policing and justice.
Would love to see some of the complainants in this thread complain about that as much!
 
The MP will also be prevented from holding any elected position in office in the party for five years.
