Get rid of the meerkat!!![]()
Quick!
I only 'tuned' my radio stations and then never really used it, because you need to keep the earphones on all the time.
When I 'tuned' my radio stations again last night, I discovered the little speaker icon!![]()
phone going in 2moro for unbranding and software update... yippeee![]()
Hi there KR. I'm sorry to dissappoint you but it looks like I'll be getting my N95 next week.
So I won't be going for the second best (P990i) anymore.![]()
No, I'm not disappointed at all, Piesang! I'm actually relieved that you'll finally get sorted out, instead of creating new threads of the P990i vs N95, N95 launch date, etc. every two hours.
Only one thing left to say : N95 = no touchscreen & no keyboard. It's a gadget phone, not a business phone.![]()
Yeah, I want to use it for a gadget phone. It's a toy for me. I'll keep using my i-Mate Jasjar for my business.![]()
That's the nice thing about the P990i - it's both those phones, rolled into one.![]()
Hahahaha. I didn't see a 5MP camera, HSDPA, GPS, Windows Mobile, etc..... when I looked at the specs of the P990i.

Don't get too excited about the 5 megapixels... it would seem nokio doesn't know too much about cameras, unlike Sony.
In some cases, the reviewer feels that the SonyEricsson K800i is still superior.

*Oh, and I doubt if I will ever buy a Windows mobile phone....
@Piesang
The gr8 thing about the N95's camera is that it is 5MP, however, the sad thing about it is the phone's speed. Similar to my old Nokia 6600 I had, where you would push the button to take the photo, and literally have to stand still for a few seconds to make sure you got the shot.
The nice thing about the P990i is, the phone's camera is more than adequate for random every day use, in fact it doesn't struggle much up against my digital cam, as I had to switch over to my P990i once in the past when I ran out of memory on my normal camera. The P990i is fast, records pictures very quickly, it's no big deal to take quick snap shots.
I heard a reviewer from the smart phone show once comment on how the N95 is indeed a jack of all trades, but sadly, a master of none. I do hope someone does an official shoot-out review between the P990i and the N95 soon!

That's the link to the review - I have to admit having watched the review a 2nd time over, I am a little more impressed with the phone than I was the first time. Admittedly it is feature-packed - but not entirely untouchable by the P990i.
However the main reason I got seriously put off the N95 (besides price probably) is the camera's slowness. Hope you enjoy the phone!
