Sony Ericsson P990i

Hey, aqualung!

I'm too scared to use my phone before I get my screen protector & phone cover! :)

I wish you could see my P910i, there's a big 'hole' in the middle of the screen from all the writing - can't even write in that area anymore, must write in the bottom left or right corner, which is a tad difficult if you're a lefty.... :(

Think I need to track my orders from DomL & Brando...
 
@kingrob, the stuff should arrive any day now ( like, tomorrow ! )

I presume your baby is charging as we speak....

Still in the box - I told you....

As soon as it comes out of the box, I'm gonna start playing with it and scratch my screen again. It has happened with my P800, P900 & P910. Maybe I write too hard on the screen? :(

( in the unlikely event that you do scratch the screen in the first day of the use, the SP will cover the scratch up - worked on my P910 )

I cannot believe you have put the phone away in the box !

Just work with a light hand ! You're not carving the Rosetta stone here ! :p

Hopefully my screen protector will be in the mailbox tomorrow.... :)

I first want to put that on the phone, before I start playing with it.

*Giggle* My 3G E220 USB modem is also still in the box - Antowan asked me today what speed am I getting with it & I told him it's still unopened. Didn't wait for his reply. :)

I've got a 'scratched' Treadmill at Active Virgin that I'm gonna go play with now.... :)
 
Ok, sorry to have kept all of you in suspense.
I left it for its charge, and eventually put in the sim.
AND IT WORKS :D
So far so good, obviously first thing i did is install Swiss manager.
I havent had any hangups yet.
I am **lucky** enough to have a unbranded phone, so none of the VL crap for me (BIG smiles)
No just to get the internet working through my wireless lan, it keeps wanting to go via 3g
I didnt have the superhuman patience to wait for my cover, so im treating her as carefully as i can.
Everyone seems to mention a screen protector as well, where do u get that from?

Cool man! I'm happy for you. If your expectations are not too high (perfect phone without glitches), you will enjoy this phone. And then there is always the promise of future FW upgrades to improve the performance even more.

I've also ordered the Martin Fields Screen Protector from DomL.com, and expects it tomorrow to arrive (ordered it last week Tuesday). Can't wait.
