Sony Ericsson P990i

@ Kingrob, I knew you would not be able to resist the undeniable beauty and far superiority of the P990i... I am just shocked that after all this time it still remains in the box... I bow down to the king for is clearly superior self control.:eek:

@ Aqualung, about how many days did you have to wait for your SP and Crystal Case... I ordered both yesterday and am interested to know what to expect :)

@ Rellik, shame about the hiccups bud, but CONGRATS on getting the new phone... They really are awsome!!!

This forum really does cook! Its the first thing I look forward too in the morning :) that and playing with my 990... All the info on this forum is great because we all experiencing similar issues and resolving them as the P990 ELITE...

I can vouch for DomL, they're reliable and will send you your stuff ASAP.

If you're worried about an online purchase with your credit card, check with your bank.

Like Kingrob said, DomL is a trusted site, and they shipped off the order immediately. The bottleneck is as always our South African Customs and postal services..

They also give you a tracking number to check up on your shipment. :cool:
 
So far so good. I have played with my phone quite a bit. Only hickup is i cant seem to sync my contacts, the rest of the SE suite sees to work. this is going a bit slow as i' typing it on my p990 kb and it takes getting used to. But i'm browsing myadsl via my phone and my wireless network!!!

I have been following this forum religiously for the past couple of days, and wanted to say, thanks for all the info, just acquired THE P990:p , on charge currently. Awaiting all the snazzy accessories that everyone has suggested.

Suggestion, maybe setup a new category(if that is the term), called PIMP YOUR PHONE and list the phone types with the cool accessories that can be acquired.:rolleyes:

Just got a call from Post Office to say my Screen Protectors arrived from Hong Kong. So it worked out to be 7 working days. Not bad.
 
Hi guys,

1st person in Jhb to PM me gets a P990i without the wait....no, I'm not joking...I'm serious. I got an sms from an MTN store where i had my name on their waiting list, to say that they finally got a P990i for me. But i already got the phone elsewhere. So the 1st person to PM will get the details where to collect. Else, I'll call the store to give the phone to the next person.

It was worth the wait. MTNSP stores say R999 on ProCall contracts.

For FREE with MTN Procall 120 (with extra bluetooth headset for an additional R96) at Altech Autopage. It was a contract renewal.
