Just installed it (hmm...tried to use the application installer on the Smartphone suite, gave me an error, so just copied it to phone memory and tapped on it from file manager) and it's even better than before!

I see there is a new feature 'clean up RAM when idle' - will see if it works...

Swiss manager seems to be working nicely.

my only gripe is the icon tht sits smack on top of my locked/unlocked icon and can not be moved.

I seem to be getting a lekker 15MB free on avg.

Oh and that M3 video convertor rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!

@hanno, CPS have thought of everything. In FC , select SMP from control panel, tab along in SMP to the last tab 'task', select 'more', select 'move icon', now press the Dpad to move icon anywhere you like on FC screen !

*I can now understand why a lot of people copy entire DVDs to their P990i phones & watch movies/live music DVDs on the plane & on their way to work (train) - 'full' frame rates + 'full' stereo sound on the coolest 'mini' LCD screen on the planet. :)

And with Swiss Manager 1.3, I'm feeling optimistic about the P990i again....

*Gonna 'rip' my Dido : Live at Brixton Academy DVD to my P990i now....just hope the 512MB memory stick will be enough.... :o

@kingrob - agreed !!! - I'm thinking of loading the episodes of Prison break that I have not seen yet , and watching it while on the cycle in the gym.

In this particular case, what is impressing you is two ( SMP and M3 ) 3rd party apps, superbly coded, and wringing every last erg out of the P990i capabilities ;)

( the Swiss Manager team have included more "functionality" in this version than SE could dream of ...:rolleyes: )

I agree. I aspecially like the multiple file send to bluetooth, IR etc.

To be honest with you every day I see something new about this phone and it's really impressing me with the icons you can now move around the multiple file send sounds awesome the theme's you can get and just the overall picture of the P990 it's just a pity it doesn't have HSDPA and push email with lookup but I suppose the N95 won't have push email either

I ripped Dido: Live at Brixton Academy DVD to my phone last night & I wish I could show you how fabulous it look on the P990i's 'mini' LCD screen!!

I ended up watching the whole DVD on my P990i.... :)

*sigh*
