Sony Ericsson P990i

What thats a couple of seconds at 400kbs, what you bitching about?

Honestly don't know. I would guess it is.

I'm as a rule not a big data user. although since the p900 with 3G I have busted my 100Mb data bundle two months in a row.

maybe shoud go to 350MB

Can't afford to pay cellphone and landline contracts either.

Wynsam - where can one get a better headset?
Anyone have any idea if there is an adapter available so that you could plug in a 3.5mm headphone jack?

@MrSmith
Look at these:

I bought the first one. Works very well. It even acts as an antennae for the phone's built-in radio. The second one looks like it's got an added microphone for walk-and-talk operation.

Took 5 working days to import from Hong Kong. Quick and professional service (they ship same day of order).

@hanno P990i

Consider waiting for the 18th of February - MTN is going to announce a new (or revamped) data bundle that MTNDD is very excited about. He is unfortunately not allowed to tell us what it is yet (so don't even think of asking him :D )

I've got one of those for my W800i so there should be something similar available.

Doesn't the W800i and P990i use the "FASTPORT"?

I'm looking for HBH-DS970. Apparently it comes standard with the W950i - but no one can stock me one. It's the Sony "superior sound headphones",but it's bluetooth. You can listen, change and see (via the LCD) your music, and answer calls and that. Should cost R899.

I'm pretty sure you could get a 3.5mm adapter - if not you could always make one (take an old pair of FASTPORT headphones, cut the wires, splice them, solder to a female 3.5mm connection and Voila! (SP edited thanks to magus) I did that for my N80 - and then it came with the bloody adapter in the box (felt stupid)

Yes, they (CellPhoneSoft) will add an option in SMPro to autostart Twin Peaks :) as soon as you start SMPro. Then hopefully one day SE will allow non-Symbian-signed apps to autostart again at bootup (like in the previous FW version).
