I see, so your company is keeping you on Outlook. I had that problem, but I found that the Googlesync for Calendar only events, work great. So now I moved all my stuff to the googles, Calendar, Email, and Contacts.

It is a slep I must admit when I get new contacts and I need to add them to Outlook, because they are already in googles, but it happens on rare occasions so for those I just export the one new guy to csv etc. you know the drill.

It is a slep I do not mind, since I get more out of the googles than Outlook, but I can see it being a sore thumb for like 99% of the population.

With the regard to the contacs and calendar, it is always private, except when you make it public. Googles will by default make it private unlike facebook.

I don't use Outlook, but my friend's company does. He uses Google's tools to sync between Outlook and Gmail, and then syncs from gmail to his phone. Says it works really well.
 
Rooted mine the end of October and just changed it to make it think it's a Nordic X10i. Got the update as soon as it was released at the end of October.

Been working perfectly so far.

is anyone one who got the update automatically on mtn?
i've got a friend with a x10 and its not showing any update?

Use the SE PC Companion software instead of doing the update OTA. That's how I did mine.
