Sony pulls the plug on "The Interview"

Say what you want about Obama but he is not a bad president. Sure he comes across spineless especially if you are more interested in foreign relations (this is my way of saying war mongering in a PC way) and entertainment on CNN, but as far the boring stuff goes like job creation etc. he is doing bloody well.

Obama will eventually be regarded as one of the US' greatest presidents; just like how Bill Clinton is regarded now.

He is doing things now for the long-term as he is now largely unconstrained by domestic politics. Republican's racism has tried to sabotage his presidency from day one. They even stated as much.

All what he is doing now on immigration and Cuba will solidify the Democratic Party's base, which is woman, Latinos etc.

There was very little that Obama could have done on foreign relations as the world is moving to multiple power centres; especially since Bush left the country in major debt and a huge financial crisis too.

Hence the US is withdrawing from many regions, namely the middle east.

That some Bill Clinton who abandoned his healthcare reform in the face of mass opposition and signed into law GOP bills that had him labeled a sell out :erm:

Pitty. The Interview sounded epic.

Ah well just have to wait for it to appear on the WWW.

why is it considered an act of strength to restore ties with a piss ant little island that regularly violated human rights regularly (and still supports communism?)
You should ask why they've always been so afraid of that little island, such that they've made such a big deal about it. Maybe they just don't like the fact that Castro didn't help them smuggle cocaine or violated human rights all on his own instead of as a US puppet. Perhaps he pissed them off because he did not bow and scrape before them and they couldn't seem to manage to depose or kill him. He's always been a big fat ***** you to the US. Afterall the US has never truly given the slightest damn about humans rights violations except when it serves their purposes to vilify or attack the perpetrators.

You love putting words in my mouth go read again what i wrote.
Liberals really are blind

You are the one who brought terrorists into it,

Lets let in every single illegal and also every single terrorist that will work

Why mention them at all if you weren't trying to draw a comparison between the two, as if illegal workers are more likely to be terrorists? How many of the 9/11 perpetrators were in the US illegally?

Nope sorry not this time you don't. There was no comparison at all. Not even a thought until you mentioned it.
Thanks for trying though.
Step 1 remove chip on shoulder

So you admit that the issue has nothing to do with terrorism, is that correct? As for the chip, that is rich coming from you with your incessant bitching about Obama and liberals in every other thread.

What are you on about???? The issue of what doesn't have anything to do with terrorism ???
I don't have a chip about liberals and obama I just think they have screwed up the world we live in.

To be fair, Cuba has a problem with human rights. It was a state which sided with the USSR in the past and was happy to host USA targeting nukes. But they still don't allow all freedoms there. Is it a good thing to open up to them? Sure, if you want to buy some prime beachfront property in Cuba.
