I have the Z5P.
unplugged it early morning(before 6am).
have done some mybb, and other browsing. Spoken to a few people(prob about 1hr talk time), chatted on sms, whatsapp, telegram.
And my phone still on 90% power.
The Samsung beats the Sony hands down.Hi All
Thanks for all the info. I must admit I am now more unsure.
With which phone then will the photos which you take and down load to a computer be better? S7 or Z5.
Does not matter which way she decides to go it will be a massive jump from a Samsung S4 Mini.
From what I saw on GSM Arena both phones will deliver when looking at phoning, Whatsapp, Facebook ext.
The deciding factor in the end will be which phone takes the best pictures. (Viewed on something else and not the phone)
Thanks for all the advice.
The only thing I don't like is the volume rocker placement. If she's on a Samsung, then it's less pain in going to another Samsung device. I went from a Samsung S3 to a Sony Z2 and found it irritating in the beginning in terms of the Sony way or rather Sony Android user experience. Now I've gone back to Samsung in the S7, and I prefer Sony's button & controls placement.
When I had it, I constantly forgot to use it, even though I used it to wuicklaunch the camera. The dedicated camera button is also underrated.
Nothing quick about a manual shotWhat annoys me about the dedicated camera is when you quick launch it, it defaults to auto mode, so you can't take that quick pic if you like shooting manual.

Guys, I dropped my Samsung Note 3 and it is now switching off randomly.
I currently have a MTN contract (SIM only). Upgrade due in two months time but I requested retention department for an earlier upgrade.
What you think of this deal?? Input appreciated. (allotted minutes and data is fine for me)

What are your considerations?
Price or a good handset, and what features are most important to you?
In this instance, it is the price in comparison to what people are already paying on their contracts for the device. R419 seems pretty decent for what you get.
I'm in the G4, P8, Z5 ballpark in terms of phone specs. Most important is camera.
G4 then. I had both the G4 and Z5, and the Z5 lacks badly. The G4 has the best camera for sure.
Cheers for that. I think G4 is even cheaper too, I'll consider it. Oh, and unlock bootloader and custom ROMs is a must - for future proofing etc.
Well then, you gonna have a problem with the unlock bootloader on both the Sony and the LG.
