Source code for Watch Dogs: Legion leaked online - Report

Ransomware group Egregor claims to have leaked the source code of the recently-launched game Watch Dogs: Legion, reports Rock Paper Shotgun.

This follows the group previously claiming to have stolen this data from the game's creator, Ubisoft.

Interesting, Ubisoft did a overhaul of their ecosystem during October which was phased in over a period of a week, some titles migrated to the new system and older titles was promoted to legacy status.

I wonder that if in this time they may have been vulnerable. Also, if the game's repository was vulnerable it doesn't necessary mean that the source code was exposed. Normal game files may be exaggerated as source code.

Time will tell, but what is there to achieve really?
