Does anyone log in to sourceforge to post in their forums? (https://sourceforge.net/community/forum/)

I have registered, and can log in, but after a number of pages I always end up not being logged in any more ... so I can't actually post. I've tried in Firefox and in IE, and it's not a cookie problem. I'm wondering if it's a SAIX transparent proxy problem, or something like that.

It is exactly that:

Use this proxy: cache.saix.net port:8080 (preferably in FF with all options for the proxy),

Sometimes you'll try and download a file and it fails as well, switch to the proxy, voila. Same with Youtube videos lately.

Thanks tera ... will try that ... working so far.:) It's odd because but I already have that proxy set via the transparent proxy on my smoothwall. It ought to be in effect automatically.

Best to check smoothwall then. I've found on some occasions using that proxy actually slows down my internet (if it has issues) so I rarely have it enabled. I use fasterox with Firefox and that helps a lot ;)
