Is this the proper final, release SP3?
Sorry if this link has been discussed already.

Another thing, does anyone know if there is a redistributable version of the "Save to PDF" addon for Office 2007?

I don't use XP, but I'm sure it's the final release on the Microsoft site.

Regarding Save to PDF, take a look at www.primopdf.com It's an ad supported PDF printer, but it works perfectly fine and I've used it many times in the past, the ads aren't irritating either. You just install it and click print and choose the Primo PDF printer, which prints it to PDF file ;)

As far as I know, the link provided in the thread discussing Windows XP Service Pack 3 (the one that is linked in the FAQ) links to the final, proper version of SP3 :)

OK, thanks. Just realized I didn't post the link I was referring to, from softpedia... :)

SP3 is not out yet...by the way. It got delayed, again. Because of some 'RMS' ussue or something.

But will it be exactly the same as the file that they'll release once the bug has been sorted? Will they fix the bug on SP3's side or RMS' side?

I installed it but my sp3 but I had to uninstall because my modem would not give me a DNS server on sp3. Anyone had this problem?

SP3 Also killed all my Internet? I have tried everything, did you get yours sorted out? If you did I would be grateful to know how.SP3 seemed a bit quicker than SP2 for me at least, but I had to roll back everytime to SP2. Tried it on a clients machine and it killed his Internet as well, but not serious as he doesn't use Internet on that machine.

TIA

Hey!!!!!!!!

You do not need to post this in four different places!!!

Just go back to your first post and answer the questions put to you there!!!

I tried SP3 today. Loaded from a windows disk I had slipstreamed. Just two problems, had to load IE7 from Windows Update cause the version I had downloaded before wont install, IE7 kept doing the Run Once thing every time you opened it, had to stop that with a regedit. IE7 still now working right, wont open new tabs or link and wont work with gmail. IE7 and SP3 seems to have lots of issues. Going to install to SP2 again tomorrow morn.

Other thing was network related, had to turn the authentication stuff under the network card "authentication" tab off because though it got the IP from the DHCP it didn't want to allow my Novell login to run.
