Seeing i am only going to use the amp with 15 inch Warfedale bookshelf speakers i do not want to over kill so can someone please recommend a suitable amp that is reasonably priced?If none of the speaker sets have built in amps then your best bet is a stereo hi-fi amp with A + B channels for speakers ( this lets you choose which speakers to drive usually a combination of A or B or A+B). You'll need to check the wattage of your speakers and match your amp to them, though a 25W RMS per channel amp should suffice.
Note: RMS is a better rating than MAX which most speakers are rated in, and in general if the amplifier is rated some astronomical 1000W PMPO with christmas lights all over the face plate then don't even bother with it.
So some good brands to look at are Pioneer, NAD, Sony, Technics and Kenwood.
