"Special" ADSL ?

I tried the ADSL speeds at a school up the road from here, and off a local server I hit 85kbps...

Is there some sort of "specialized" ADSL for businesses with higher bandwidth? Or was it just luck I got that much speed?

The ADSL speeds are ranging from very fast to very slow depending on the amount activity. During daytime a speed of over 20 kbits/s can be considered fast, while this will jump to over 300 kbits/s in the early morning. You can consider yourself lucky to achieve those speeds during daytime.
