Have you seen what the use of the PC will be?

The main, and only use for this pc is web browsing, printing, emails and office so I am not looking for something spectacular.

Upgrading CPU will make 0 difference to those tasks.

He needs RAM, and SSD.

Stop making him waste money.

Give it a try as some users report between 35000 and 70000k ram usage (good times good time) and extreme circumstances of 500mb usage (wtf is going on?) Why not just say Frack firefox and try something worse like chrome or anything. Then again Tim Bernes Lee uses firefox and that nugga invented the internet.
