Speedometer App

I'm looking for a good speedometer app with these features:

• Can set limits and get warnings if they're exceeded, easy to switch limits
• Average speed measurement
• Big controls for easy access while driving, like resetting average speed, switching limits
• Works well in landscape view
• Be handy if it can also record routes and speed information

I've tried:

• Speedometer GPS+ - landscape mode is useless, and it doesn't have customisable speed limits or warnings
• Speed Pro+ - better landscape mode, but the buttons are too small, and it doesn't appear to have customisable speed limits or warnings.

I would just get a Garmin GPS ... can do all of the above .

HERE Maps ties up your speed to the roads speed limit and gives you an audible tone when you exceed the limit.

I already have a standalone navigator. Unless they have a model that doubles as a phone I don't see that being a solution. Plus I'd want to be able to shut off the map and only display the speedometer and related controls.

You do get models that integrate with your phone via Bluetooth.

So the answer is no, there is no standalone navigator that does what I asked.

One app I was looking for but is not available is where it will beep when u exceed speed limits preset. Ideally a background app.. found a few but non worthy except where combo with maps and other stuff which I am not interested in having (Waze).

Thinking of dev my own app to do it but Waze toys with the idea of adding self set speed beeps which kinda all on needs. ie single unique beep for 60, 80, 100, 120 (+5km/h) to indicate over and continuous on one like 130km/h.

Yes I know knowing road speed limit is important but really it's about removing need to monitor speedo
