Speedtest to syslog

I don't know if its the most optimal code but it works.

My next attempt is trying to do it in Windoze...

Nice, yeah the script is fine, some old school stuff in there, but it works. I would just add the Result URL into the syslog as well.

Edit: On a side note, if you are sending the logs of that server you are doing a speedtest on to a remote syslog, I would just use logger to send the results to the local syslog, so when you review the syslog server you know on which server the speedtest was done.

No need to hack a syslog server with netcat to write syslog entries to.
