There is nothing I would like better than to get rid of DSTV completely! I have just one problem though - sport and specifically the major sporting events such as Rugby, Cricket and Tennis. How can I overcome this without a DSTV subscription? I already have access to Netflix etc. through UnoTelly.

sharing is caring

LOL true, I will share the site I use with you chaps tomorrow/tonight. The URL is on my media box cant reminder it now :)..> Its basically a site with a list of all the current sporting events (local and international) than gives you a link to the live stream.

I also have the same problem. All I need is sport then my media streaming will be complete :)

WiziWig?

Stupid question, wont your data costs be more than DSTV. Just wondering??

Which ISP do you use?

I want to go Capped as I only ever use about 50GB at most.
I'm wary that Telkom's "softcap" is almost the same as uncapped throttling though..

Go with Afrihost if you are on low caps.
Buy the 30gb + 30gb giving you 60gb.
There double cap offers are really cheap.

Capped is also not expensive
I stream all month and never even use 100gb.

Wow, really? I mowed my way through a 50gb capped account last month (plus about another 10gb from my backup account with Afrihost). Of course, my streaming wasn't limited to just sport. I watched all four seasons of The Killing on Netflix (in addition to movies and whatnot) which contributed to the usage.

EDIT: Actually, my post makes no sense, so ignore it! :D
