Springboard Crash

I recently updated to 4.2.1 on Firmware 05.15.04.

Then I did the jailbreak ( Greenpois0n) Now every time i make a call the springboard crashes. Previously jailbroken with Limera1n.

Is anyone else having this problem? and should I just do a restore and redo the jailbreak?

Ok just worked it out

McCleaner is the culprit. Removed McCleaner and it works fine now

Gonna miss McCleaner

You could report the issue to the MCleaner devs, that is assuming you purchased it (no judgement if either way if you did or didnt), the JailBreak developer okes are pretty keen to help and get issues sorted pretty quickly in my experience.

Cool thanks, please do; will be interesting to hear what they come back with; I don't use MCleaner personally but it is always good to know whats what and what works vs not etc.

Lockinfo caused the same issues at some point. Not sure if it has been fixed though, but one of the mobilesubstrate addons got messes up and kept crashing

Dunno how you worked out which app was causing it, the easiest way to do that is to install CrashReporter from Cydia (may need syslog as well, I think), I've used that when sending info to the devs in the past.

After installing the app my springboard crashes - Uninstall then all is OK - reinstall = crash. Uninstall again all OK.

I'll try Crashreporter and check again

That sucks !! Pity as the JB devs are normally pretty good, maybe only the ones I have been lucky to deal with are. Hopefully other people have had similar issues and a fix will be forthcoming.
