Sprouting & microgreens

Rocket microgreens getting bigger and aphids invade. Started trying to treat it but realized I have no commitment to this as a long term grow. Can pick whatever and let the rest die out and the aphids depart. Cool thing is it's just a few days from more seeds until there's stuff to eat again.

Looking good.

Some seeds I was sprouting got a bit furry so I threw them in the garden and a few of them grew into nice looking plants. When aphids moved in I cut them all. Tried the natural way of catching insects with blue/ yellow sticky plastic but it's a waste of time.

Sure the furry wasn't roots? Especially when it gets warmer some sprouts shoot out loads of tiny roots.

Hahaha you could be right  no wonder they took off like jack and the beanstalk.

I'm really enjoying having fresh stuff growing in the house all the time. Think it's time to expand to another shelf and try some other seeds.
