Spur Incident

My point was that words do have an effect on people, as much as we would like to pretend otherwise. Guy was being sworn at and taunted, nobody likes that kind of treatment. It does not however, excuse his behaviour.

Okay, point taken.

Guy should have sent his wife or let her take the lead and talked to the other lady.

Erm. She did actually. Unless I heard wrong and she did not basically dare him to hit her and see what happens.

Firstly, she told the guy to leave, to **** off, accusing him of being a bully. Then he offered to **** klap her not only verbally, but by lifting his hand in front of the children. Only then she stood up, telling him that he is bully, try to hit me. He dared to hit her first, which flared up an emotional response, try to protect that in court, especially this happening in front of children. The man’s own emotions got the better of him, his actions escalated the matter.

There is no current proof of the incident between the kids, the cause or what happened up to the time until the recording took place.

You know the reason why one kid hit another against the head? I have witnessed similar incidents, many starting at random. I have seen how this public opinion have bloomed, where racism takes precedence over parenting.

I will say this, the incident as captured on video. It is not in the best interest of any child.

let me tell you, my kid had a similar situation, he was hit by a belt, his face had a long scar over a year but it is getting better now. :)

the only reaction was, I told my kid "don't play with those kids any more", I never fight with them because they will never understand it.

I won't educate "them", I only educate "my kid". :)

Well done to both parents on How to screw up every body's expensive day out.

Just out of interest, how would Spur enforce their country-wide 'ban' imposed on the male individual in the video?

If she was white people would probably have labelled her as white trash. Then again, the guy would have probably asked for her number :p.

Why can't Spur invite both of them to some sort of arbitration. Then after the arbitration release a statement with the facts that they established and any apologies from the parties. Even if the outcome is that they can't agree on the facts. Getting them together with an impartial person chairing should cool things down.

What if spur offered the very very last burger special for them to share, while they try and smooth things over?

I think the main problem is this was a pork free spur and everyone was upset the rib burger was not on the menu.

All I am saying is that this woman by no means is a innocent victim. Same as the woman I witnesses at the garage. The only victims in this scene are the kids. Standing up for this woman is just as bad as standing up for the man.

Sexism works both ways and accepted by society.

Agree 100%, they could at least thought about the kid who will no longer be able to enjoy going to Spur with her dad.

The guy takes 90% of blame cos he approached her aggressively BUT she is not innocent either.

She takes 10% of blame.

Both parents display bad parenting.

The lady provoked him verbally, used the race card and profanity to "bait" him. He only returned cos she was shouting on top of her lungs and challenging him. She says : "hit me and see what happens".

She should have taken the high road and sat down. Then she would have been completely innocent.

There is even a lady trying to calm her down and says : "sit down Sisi".

He is definitely out of line and should be required to attend anger management courses.

I have also noticed how women are placed on a pedestal.
I am left with the impression that a woman can never be wrong.

We have bring a girl child to work but what happens to little boys?

Being banned from Spur isnt a punishment, going to Spur is.
