Spur Incident

Tap on whose head? Who made the remark, Spur, the parties or witnesses involved?

Even if you are right, this man with previous incidents counting against him, I think that the other side of this twilight-zone reality we live in is far more important and deserves the discussion and in depth attention that this is having. Women violated with electric drills, tortured for hours on end, toddlers killed because they 'make potential witnesses' etc.

What is the stance you made in this case with all the evidence in the open?
My stance is that this guy reacted in an understandable way to the situation.

The situation being that his kid was hit by hers and she essentially told him to f--k off when he confronted her about it.

Thus the unrelenting accusations of sexism and racism are unfounded.

Then there is the question, is it the same kid?

Pony tail, straightened hair... the colour tone...

Different clothes and the finger marks look much too large to be from a little kid's hand.

Some adult klapped that kid.

Weird that Spur wouldn't have caught that on their videos and mentioned something when they banned the guy.

Yah well, somebody put another little girl out in the public spotlight to stroke their own ego. This is not healthy, some people seriously needs help.

When somebody (possibly) slapped their own kid to make a point, you know it's gone too far.

You can conclude that this is exactly what happened according to what evidence exactly? Who have you chosen to believe, and why?

this is it, plain and simple.

Remember the outrage when a black kid in KZN was shot by a farmer? And remember how quickly it died out when it turned out the farmer was black. Even in this thread there has been posted countless examples of the double standards that exist in society.

A more recent example is this thing with Helen Zille. What she said is child's play compared to what Malema has sprouted over the years(you know calling for violence against white people). Yet one standard exists for him because he is black, and one standard exists for black people.

I don't particularly see what is wrong with making a stance with all the evidence in the open for you to see.

Here's a bucket for you too :p On a serious note though, I do not agree with Malema in anyway except when he is giving JZ hell. I don't agree with the people who say white people should be killed. It's wrong and should stop. You will never find me defending anyone regardless of race if they open their mouths and utter such tripe.

The only way I can explain black people not creating an uproar about a black person hurting another black person is kind of like how you will defend a family member against an outsider even though you agree with what the outsider is saying. Only family is allowed to insult family. Also keep in mind that this country has a history that cannot be so easily forgotten.

Did he not grab her kid prior to her telling him to leave and **** off?

Remember that in the future when the tables are turned and statements made by people you choose to believe because it suits your framework of reference, and possibly, agenda.

And you guys have conclusive proof of this do you? What about her claims that the guy grabbed her child violently as well as Spur's media statement agreeing with her version of events according to CCTV footage?

Care to share it with the rest of us?

It would be cool if Spur released the footage.

Then people would shut the **** up and we can move on as a country.
