What is the rest of your system specs? I hope you have like 6GB+ RAM, Quad Core CPU and a SATA III capable motherboard and like Windows 7 x64.

Make sure that you enable AHCI mode in the BIOS first and that you install it on a SATA II/II (preferably SATA III port if you do have one).

Secondly, after you did a clean install of Windows 7, make sure to perform a couple of other Windows SSD related tweaks, such as moving the temporary files off your SSD. There are numerous guides available on the Internet regarding Windows SSD tweaks.

i5 3570k, MSI z77gd55 mobo, 8gb vengeance ram. think I should be okay..... i know bout all the configs regarding ssd one thing I'm still confused bout though is the formatting, usually flash based storage were always formatted in FAT32 is it fine to format to NTFS when installing windows ?

Snail, did you ever get the speed over 500 MB/s. My Corsair Force 3 score is lower than yours.

Either my SSD is broken as well or yours is normal.
