Oh, I'm in an Ekhuruleni suburb so I'm loadshedding. I casually refer to Joburg as the entire region. I can see how it can confuse.
What is the physical extent of the ls moratorium?

How far beyond Jhb Central does it extend...approx in km? Just trying to get a visual of how big an area it encompasses...

It's City Power and all the areas supplied by City Power, saying there's no load shedding in JHB just confuses things.

So why are they lying saying they did not replenish diesel reserves?

Previously it only took a day or 2 unless they ran them even during stage 2 loadshedding. Something odd here.

How dies that make sense? Stage two until 0600 Tuesday and will continue until Thursday?

Maybe they don't want to use Diesel or can't afford it

Then say so. I would actually applaud them for that because that is actually a good financial decision. Stop using Diesel for generation and just use it to prevent a nation wide blackout if they have to ramp up the stages then so be it but rather direct all that billions spend on diesel to new oem part for the older power stations that keep breaking down. Direct the funds to shift workers as performance bonuses and overtime to get the units done.

It doesn't but What I gather is that they will stop loadshedding between 6am to 9am daily but stage 2 will be in affect until at least 6am on Thursday.
No loadshedding from 6am to 9am would help morning traffic

Load shedding stops at 6am tomorrow morning.

Then it starts again at 9am until 6am Tuesday morning.

This cycle continuous until Thursday morning 6am.

Looks like they are trying to give everyone a break during peak hours in the mornings between 6 and 9.
