Assuming the same pattern as the weekend (Stage 2 Eskom, Stage 1 CoCT) the schedule today (Mon 3rd) will be:
08h00 to 10h30 Zone 13 Goodwood/Pattekloof
10h00 to 12h30 Zone 14 Melkbos/Atlantis
12h00 to 14h30 Zone 15 Observtory, etc
14h00 to 16h30 Zone 16 Ottery/Strandfontein
16h00 to 18h30 Zone 1 Bellville
18h00 to 20h30 Zone 2 Maitland/Milnerton
20h00 to 22h30 Zone 3 Strand/Somerset West

Area 13 been online non stop this far, so I assume not stage 1 load shedding for CoCT currently..

Unthinkable today, but In 2001 Eskom won the prestigious Global Power Company of the Year award. In early 2008 Eskom still held an A1 credit rating. Today it is rated CCC+ by S&P - 7 tiers into junk with a negative outlook.

Just like everything else they've broken it.

My area has had "load" shedding for near on three years now, sometimes up to 18 hours a day, City power seem to fix the substation with sticky tape and bubble gum so it pops a lot.

More likely continued cable theft.

My area has that between 4 and 5 times a week. Some days we have it twice a day, 4:00am to 8:30am and then again 8:00pm - 12:30am

My zone at home has it between 18:00 and 20:00 or 20:00 and 22:00 Mon- Friday.

And as I said in the other thread.

There is no justifiable excuse for loadshedding short of some natural disaster taking out 2 or 3 power plants. Any thing else is down to incompetency.

For every hour of loadshedding an Eskom exec should be publically executed for treason.

“Eskom employee” caught driving at 162km/h to “deal with load shedding”

Four people were arrested on Sunday for driving way over the speed limit in Ekurhuleni east of Johannesburg.

One speedster claimed to be an Eskom employee who was “dealing with load shedding issues”.

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department’s High Speed Unit arrested the four on Sunday between 5am and 11am on the stretch of the N3 freeway southbound between the Geldenhuys Interchange and the Rand Airport turn-off.

This stretch of the freeway is a 120km/h zone. The drivers were caught doing speeds of between 162km/h and 173km/h.

“At 05:44, a 29-year-old male driver behind a wheel of a maroon Mazda 3 was clocked at 173km/h, citing the reason that he was late for work,” Chief Superintendent Wilfred M Kgasago said in a statement.

Block 4 myself as well...

I will start screaming very loudly at the municipality very shortly if this crap continues... Areas like DBN North for example never get Stage 1 load shedding... and only 1 day of Stage 2

Depends on what you call Dbn North. Glen Ashley, Glen Anil Virginia etc get daily between 18:00 and 22:00, either first or second slot.

I'll gladly trade you your block 4 times for my block 3.
