So assuming load now is 25k and they estimate winter will be 32-36k that's a demand increase of 7-11k. Even if they reduce maintenance by 4k they're still short 3-7. And that's ignoring the inevitable failure increase that'll happen because of the increased demand

Winter load hasn't been 36k in a long time, but if it does hit 32k it will be at night and currently at night it's 27k, take into account that there is 7GW of planned maintenance happening + 750MW of OCGTS out of the equation. You half the 7GW to 3.5GW + the 750MW you're sitting at 4.2GW more capacity then now, We'd be about the same boat we're in now
