Even if (and that's a huge if) ANC voters grow a braincell we'll still be stuck with some coalition of ANC/EFF. But ANC voters will still buy all the BS.
Let's say by some absolute fluke someone other than the ANC and/or EFF win. Do you think those two are just going to let it go? Nope. They will just return to their default settings of terrorists. They will sabotage and destroy the place. "look what your new leaders did". Because if they can't have it, no one will.

I have a friend that feels the same way as you do. He left for NL and is now afraid he might get send back if they form a new anti-immigration government.

I have hope for a better coalition in South Africa.

Twitter isn't real life, but what I noticed is, voters don't care if your pension gets destroyed, or if a SOE gets looted empty, or if there are potholes, but they do care if they can't watch soccer, or make food, or sleep with a fan on.

I think if we suffer enough until May (saw that as a date, floating around), things might just change for the better.
