Stage three load shedding strikes

The city power site is working for me. If anyone needs a screenshot for an area, let me know.

Fairlands / Windsor / Kelland / Malanshof are up now, but due to be load shedded tomorrow morning 06:00 - 10:30, and then again 22:00 - 02:30.

Yep, seems to be back up for me too

I actually find that unacceptable, why are they allowed to remain at stage2?

My rough guess about this would be that the "stages" don't exactly correspond to a certain number of MWs lost, and so when something like the City of CT switches off two zones at a time they may be a little over what they need to save for Stage 2. So if Eskom is currently 2100 MW short, they're technically in Stage 3, but the City of CT might have been conservative enough when they defined Stage 2 load shedding that they can still work in Stage 2.

"We are currently LOAD SHEDDING in STAGE 3 in some areas due to high demand or urgent maintenance being performed at certain power stations"

WHAT AREAS? YOU ****ING USELESS CLOWNS! Been waiting for our electricity to go poof in our area since 8AM. THIS IS A GAME OF AFRICAN ROULETTE! What a bunch of uneducated self-serving clowns. Just kill yourselves because you are barely worth a bucket of Zoooma's ****.

That actually makes good sense.

How do you see what area you are in when they have them split into 4 groups...? (My area has 4 "subdivisions")

Hmmm... rock paper scissors lizard spock:)

Not a clue to be honest, there must be a way, I guess calling them they may be able to tell you. I 'learned' over time which I was by taking note of all times, then seeing when I went off. Not greatest way when schedule isn't kept to, but lately I've noticed they have been fairly accurate with it. When I do go down out of shedding schedule, usually turns out to be something blowing up somewhere.

Eskom is still in stage 3 but I see Cape Town has suspended load shedding. Odd that
