Stalemate on choosing a Console

Ok......

So I go to Dion-Wired today..

And on my left was the 80gb PS3 bundle - GT5 + Unreal = R5400

On my rights was the 60gb Xbox pro = R3000

After looking at each one and spending 1 hour deliberating... I reached a stalemate and couldnt decide on what to do

Will need to with a decision!

Wish there was a clear winner.... but honestly after all research.. its much over muchness!

Go to xbox vs. ps3 thread and you will see that xbox360 is clearly the winner, unless you have a full hdtv (1080p or i I'm not sure ATM) and want to watch blu-ray movies then get the ps3.

Well, Xbox 360 is gonna pwn the PS3 in terms of games this summer (well, that's at least what all the hype says ).

Xbox Live may not be free but it's the most fun you'll have online any time soon, I'm not taking anything away from PSN though.

The new Xbox Experience looks pretty sweet so that's another plus.

If you have a nice HDTV and plan to watch Bluray movies, then you should go for the PS3 but for me, I went with the 360, saved a ton of cash and just stream all my stuff to my 360.

Both are good consoles, either one you'll be happy with.

Do yourself a favour... It's christmas soon with LOADS of titles for Xbox.
Sony on the other hand.....

Playstation is not what it used to be, go buy the Xbox

I dont have an HDTV and I will never play online games...

The main purpose of the console would be for racing games, GTA series and Virtua tennis 3

After the 1000's of posts on this forum and the 100 000 000's others on the net and you still cant make up your mind?
The games you want to play is on the 360 but I think that you might be better suited with the PS3.

Those who knew my original stance... I have made up my mind.

Originally I said the PS3 with the thought that it would be around longer and it has better gfx.... both blown out the water

Now here is the 411:
I dont have an hdtv (hence blueray useless)
I dont play online games (PS3 free service useless)
Everyone I know have xbox360's (trading/loaning games nice)

Finally... there is a R2000 difference in price...

So I have decided on practicality reasons to go with the xBox360.

Wow, why all the hate guys? What war timgal? The HD war...? I don't see why it's relevant. Yes, revisions (falcon included) of the 360's motherboard have decreased failure rates from around 33% to around 10%, but it's still not the industry acceptable 3-5%.
I believe the Jasper model will put an end to RROD. Also a price cut was announced for all major territories. Go waste your hate on someone else...
