Standalone Fibre Data ISP?

Hi everyone,

long story short, my estate signed a pathetic 10 year exclusivity deal with Telkom, I got the Fibre line active and everything but Telkom ISP refuses to migrate the line to any ISP but said my data side is open-ended.

Afrihost refused to give me a data only fibre package, I know this might be impossible, but does anyone know of any of the good ISPs offering data only fibre accounts? I would prefer not to use Telkom Internet again as my ISP :/ too many bad memories lol

CISP does provide uncapped data only accounts: https://www.cisp.co.za/ftth/openserve-residential/

Just scroll down a bit.

Otherwise, VOX should also be able to assist. On their site they only list ADSL capped and Fat pipe accounts, but any of those will also work on your Openserve line due to it using Telkom's IPC. If you talk to VOX via support they might be able to assist with an uncapped account.

Cool Ideas are one of the best ISPs around. I strongly recommend them over alternatives.
