10Mbps with CrystalWeb.
Getting between 200ms to 220ms. It just annoying because if they are moving you have to aim in front of them to hit them.

I'll play it some more over the weekend, and then decide at the end of that if it will be worth buying or not.
 
I preordered the PS4 version from Takealot. Decided to give the console a try this time as the PC release bugs are too frustration. And I have one of these ;)

I just played a bit now and the latency was actually not bad. Shots fired basically instantly.

They fire instantly, but you have to lead the shot. Then again it may just be "stormtrooper aim" as I was able to get 1st in terms of score in my last game. So I am getting better at it.
 
Downloaded last night played like 10 min this morning quick. Looks good. Did not check latency though.

I don't have an issue with Frostbite if it performs like this.

That being said, it got old pretty fast for me last night.
It's the standard grind for xp to get better weapons.
BF & COD in a nutshell.

No semblance of skill needed, just spray and level up for better weapons in order to rek everyone.
It's fun but the BETA is just too limited at the moment.
 
Graphics are great, but something felt lacking in it. Still 2 minded if I will get it. Audio also needs some work.

I just don't have the time to play :(

I also ran into the bug where you cannot press enter to start - need to window the game then it allows you to press enter.
 
I played a bit last night and it ran really well.
Looks like a fun game :P

Latency inst an issue for me as I just moved across to Belgium :P

My 90mb vdsl connection works like a dream ;)

My son plays borderless windowed and it looks just fine but has no errors or random artifacts.
 
Played it on fullscreen without any errors.

Only have 2 gripes with the game so far:

1) Let me choose what view I want ( 1st or 3rd) and let it stay like that until I decide otherwise
2) Never finding servers. Have to constantly join on friends
 
Anyone ever feel like they have to unload most of the "clip" of their blaster to kill someone yet you seem to get killed in 2 shots?

Looking around the ea forums and Reddit it seems this issue which I thought was down to latency might be something else as others are reporting it as well.

And has anyone noticed how many people get banned during a map trying to cheat. It's a lot!

Well they just added more servers according to their tweet.
 
Played some last night. Its battlefield with Star Wars skins. Still enjoyable. Some serious spawn camping issues but I guess that can be fixed with some better map design.

What I do find game breaking is that the ~ key brings up console. Its my push to talk and has been forever. So unless I can change the console key its a 100% skip.
So if any of you know how to change it, I'll be very greatful.
 
Played quite a bit over the weekend, I'd prefer more weapon customization and I hope the amount of weapons and cards are more varied in the final version.

Would also be nice to see ping and players levels.
 
Game is fun. But still not sure if to get it. It has so much potential. According to EA/Dice on the twitter acc, there will be no server browser, proper squads or in game voip. They really need to get local servers put in place as well.

Now I see there is a Season pass as well @ R500.
