Star Wars : The Acolyte

Yikes!

The Acolyte’s 15% Audience Score Is Embarrassing, For The Audience Scorers

The other Forbes person I posted at the beginning also updated his article by adding (he also 'better' expressed his views in the overall article):

I’d say that Star Wars deserves better stewards, but George Lucas didn’t do a very good job of that himself in the later years. In fact, The Acolyte keeps reminding me of the prequel trilogy in all the worst ways.

Ah well. What a shame. I’ll keep watching (obviously) and I really do hope it gets better. In fact, next week’s episode—which is too short and has an annoying cliffhanger ending—is leaps and bounds better than this one. So that’s something to look forward to! Silver linings and all that jazz.

Also published a new video:

The culture wars are quite something to behold.

Anyhow. I will stick to canon now.

Watch it for what it is. The spectacle and visuals. Ignore the woke as much as possible. Then its watchable but still 2/10 at best.

A bit of star wars is still better than no star wars?

I’d prefer no Star Wars. This kind of thing taints good memories.

No. Start watching British shows. Mostly far superior :)

The Acolyte Brings Back Star Wars Prequels Character, Sparking a Debate Among Fans

A small but significant appearance.

The fourth episode of The Acolyte featured an unexpected Star Wars prequel trilogy cameo and some fans have a problem with it.

The Acolyte takes place roughly 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, so viewers were surprised to see Ki-Adi-Mundi, who was a member of the Jedi Council in the prequel films, present at a meeting about Mae in this week's episode. His name is listed in the end credits as confirmation.
