Wow. Just wow. The worst Star Wars Disney ever made also the absolute best? But it is! I both hate and absolutely LOVE this show. //personal opinion, Rogue One and Andor are objectively better but I need Jedi and Sith in my Star Wars so this is my favourite

@OnlyOneKenobi please watch ASAP. As in TODAY. I’d like to hear what you think. Avoid spoilers. It’s terrible up to episode 3 but they start inserting nuggets of pure awesome in the garbage after that. Tip for watching, don’t pay too much attention to how the story is being told but think of the story they’re failing to tell, you can piece it together and it’s super cool. IMO.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced... so I'll take that as a sign not to watch it.
 
Poor/cringy dialogue, infection with the woke mind virus, being too liberal with established lore, poor storytelling, too much borrowing from movies, etc.

Best lightsaber duels - ever. Insight in to how and why the Sith remained undetected in a believable way. A less caricatured albeit 2D sith. Internally consistent force logic that adds positively and used to create interesting plot twists/implications. (No, not the witch thing, the verge thing) , nice Cameos for the fans. Book lore I was not aware of but liked immensely.

Season 2 can do better especially if they get new writers. The problems are fixable. It’s a new hope. It was certainly better than Kenobi.
 
I never watched the show, but how bad was it if Disney appears to be scrubbing it entirely?

Following the sudden cancellation of Star Wars: The Acolyte on August 19, the official website of Disney Store has completely excised the show’s presence. This includes the delisting of all Acolyte-branded merchandise. In addition, the Acolyte section listed on the site’s sidebar was taken down.

Through the use of The Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, which enables users to view snapshots of webpages taken on certain dates, one can clearly see that there were, in fact, a few pieces of The Acolyte merch up for sale mere days earlier.

Products inspired by the recently axed Acolyte have disappeared from the Disney Store.

According to an insider, apparently Marvel has seen the error of it's ways and will get back to telling good stories and hopefully leave the woke and DEI behind them. But the people in charge of Star Wars haven't changed course, so you can expect the same crap from Star Wars going forward.
 
Now that it is cancelled, there is now lore which is in limbo. I won't be surprised to see these characters brought back. It also leaves the Jedi High Council in a dark place.
