Star Wars: The Old Republic!

Cancelled subscription last night. It got old quick. Maybe the endless grind in WoW spoiled the genre for me. Anyhow, felt I needed to share.

I am really enjoying the game so far. Yes it has its problems, but what game doesnt or didnt?

I find PVP to be fun regardless of whether I win or lose, the storyline is also awesome. I have not reached endgame yet, but by the time I get there the new content update should be out so im not worried.

Not everyone is a engamewhore. I like to smell the daisies on the way there.

Problems aside, I'm referring to the straight annoying repetitive grinding leveling - never mind gearing for endgame. Kill 20 of this, 20 of that, so on and so forth.
 
Endgame PvP is quite fun :P once you start getting some Expertise and jam with friends it gets even better. Bioware has been working diligently on adressing a wide variety of bugs with frequent patches, and our first Major Content Patch has already been released, with the next one planned for March! (which includes a new Warzone!)

Looking at the "balancing" changes in classes like the agent already it's a matter of time before SWTOR PvP goes the same way as WoW. IMBA one week, useless the next. Changing the game mechanics as and when irks me to no end.

Negative nancy out. Seriously - I'm starting to hate myself for all this whining.

Hmmmm, lets see. The game has been out for about 6 weeks now. They nerfed Operatives so they couldn't obliterate someone in a single stun duration. I don't know about you, but that seems legit to me. I mean, as a Juggernaut, I wear heavy armor, and if I didn't have my stun removal at the ready (as in finger poised over the button), I was a deadman.

There was a problem, they fixed it. Now, lets compare to WoW, where the vanish bug took 4 YEARS to fix. Years. I kid you not.

Speaking as an Imperial Agent, we've been nerfed but it means instead of a stunlock death we can still drop most players to 10% then burn them down & others we outright KO. SO yeah we probably needed the nerf as it does make it more balanced.

I for one am loving the game levelling is awesome as the class story is rich & rewarding, I've yet to skip a class cut-scene I've gotten into it.

Im selling or trading my SWTOR account for anyone that is interested. I have the Digital upgrade pack with the mount and extras. Got a level 18 sith Warrior.

Game got pretty boring, WoW is the only game getting time from me. + Paying 2 subscriptions is way too much.

what is happening to your ea account that is attached to this ?
 
Hi, I just brought a key last night, but then when I tried to download it I ran into a problem, the launcher, when supposed to download the game gives me an error message saying it could not retrieve patch data, is this normal for sa? Any ideas on what I could do?

Could have just been an issue with the server at the time. Just retry and should go through no problem.

I haven't had any issues with it.
